IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
DENTAL CARE
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. We also use dental X-rays to assess the tooth structure below the gum line. We also discuss at home dental care to minimize the cleaning procedures. At home dental care includes brushing your pets teeth on a daily basis, giving a prescription dental diet such as Science Diet T/D, and dental chews such as CET chews.

ENDOSCOPY
High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery.
LASER SURGERY
Laser Surgery is a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.
DIGITAL RADIOLOGY
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. Digital has many advantages over standard film X-rays. Digital X-rays allow greater detail to be visualized to allow us to diagnose problems that could not have been seen on regular film X-rays. The image results with digital are immediate allowing for decreased waiting time and a quicker diagnosis. We are also able to e-mail or burn the images to a CD if a specialist needs to view the images for a further work-up so the X-rays will not need to be repeated.
ULTRASOUND
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. Ultrasound is often used after X-rays have taken for a better look at the individual organs and can help in diagnosis of disorders that are not able to be seen on other tests.
THERAPY LASER
The Low-Level Therapy Laser is a cold laser that does not heat the skin or underlying tissues. Energy is released into the tissues resulting in decreased pain, increased number of blood vessels to the area, decreased bacterial counts and increased rate of healing.
