Jeremy Wentz , University of Pennsylvania, 2003, Practice Owner
| Dr. Jeremy Wentz comes to Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital with a wealth of experience. Having spent time at several day practice veterinary hospitals in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Wentz is extremely familiar with the daily needs of pets and their owners. Combined with his day practice experience, Dr. Wentz first started out working in emergency veterinary medicine. His five years of experience in emergency medicine, honed his knowledge of soft tissue surgery, ultrasounds, and many emergency procedures. Dr. Wentz is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (2003), Muhlenberg College (1998), and Lehighton High School (1994). Dr. Wentz currently resides in Clarks Summit, with his wife Nicole and son Jackson, daughter Brielle, golden retriever Champ, and domestic short hair cat, Sage. Dr. Wentz enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and playing recreational sports in his spare time. |

Dr. Mark Burch , DVM, University of Tennessee, 1982

Dr. Mark Burch, a graduate of University of Tennessee, joined the practice in Spring 1982 and later became a partner with Dr. Ott. He and his wife Heather share their home with a Welsh Corgi named Yogi, a black Labrador named Kelly and several cats. His wife and four kids also enjoy spending time outdoors with their horses. His hobbies include taking care of his property, tinkering with his old tractors and beekeeping. |

Dr. Sean C Ott , VMD, University of Pennsylvania, 2003

Dr. Sean Ott, son of Dr. Craig Ott and our Practice Manager Lynette Ott, joined the practice in July 2003. Sean is a graduate of Stroudsburg High School (1993) and earned a bachelor of science degree from Penn State University in animal bioscience (1997). He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia, where achieved his VMD degree. Sean lives in Bartonsville with his two cats, George and Marvin. Sean is an avid cyclist and races competitively. |

Jennifer L Cree , DVM, Iowa State University 2004

Jennifer Cree, DVM, joined our veterinary staff on June 4, 2007. Dr. Cree is a 2004 graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her BS in Animal Bioscience from Penn State in 1999.
Before moving to the Poconos, Dr. Cree practiced for three years in two small animal hospitals in Boothbay and Wiscasset, Maine. She has a rescued Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Gracie.

Dr. Dana Greenleaf , DVM, Mississippi State University 2009
Dr. Greenleaf made the trip from Mississippi to join our practice team in June 2009. She graduated from the Veterinary School at Mississippi State and did her undergraduate work at Tufts University. She brings with her an interest in dermatology, behavior and internal medicine.
When she is not at the hospital, Dr. Greenleaf enjoys spending time with her husband Joseph and their pets. She has three mixed breed dogs named Max, Emma and Willie along with two cats, Simon and Francesca.
Prior to veterinary school Dr. Greenleaf worked with senior citizens as Activities Director in an independant retirement home. Her hobbies include camping, reading and exploring new towns and restaurants. |

Dr. Gregg J Raino , Practice Manager, DVM, Ross University 1992

Gregg earned a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Psychology from Beaver College in 1985 and his D.V.M. from Ross University in 1992. As Medical Staff Coordinator, Gregg oversees the training and direction of our veterinary support staff. In his spare time Gregg enjoys spending time with his wife Ellen and their son Liam. His pets include 3 miniature dachshunds, 3 cats and 2 turtles. Gregg is an avid sports fan and music lover. |

Rose Halstead , Book Keeper, May, 2004 Rosie took over our bookkeeping position full-time Arpil 1, 2004. Having worked at several local businesses, Rosie comes to us with more than 16 years of bookkeeper's experience. She resides in Bartonsville with her daughter, Rebecca, and canine pal, Brittany. When time permits, Rosie enjoys ceramics, reading, logic puzzles, and movies. |  View |
Laura E. , Certified Veterinary Technician, Inventory, March, 1990 Laura is a licensed veterinary technician who has been on the staff since 1990. Laura graduated from Harcum College outside of Philadelphia with her degree in Animal Center Management. She and her husband, William (Bill), live in Shawnee-on-Delaware with their daughter, Christy and two yellow labs, Jeter and Manny, and two cats, Pierce and Newman. Laura likes to hike and garden. She and her two canine children (who are both certified therapy dogs), enjoy visiting nursing home residents and autistic children. |  View |
Grace Ann , Database Manager Grace Ann, She handles our computers and software and keeps us running smoothly. She comes to us with many years of experience in Office procedures, Personnel, and Mental Health billing. She resides in Stroudsburg with her family and three purry companions, Sandy, Callie, and the infamous James. He got his name from his Godmother (Jamie) who is also a staff Member. When she finds the time she does enjoy Gardening, improving her home by landscaping,Painting, plastering,Sanding whatever is needed and definitely loves old comedy movies and cheesecake. mmmm.

Technician
Ann , Certified Veterinary Technician, Technician Team Leader, July, 1987 Ann joined our practice as a certified veterinary technician in 1987 and has been serving as the team leader for the technician group since 1991. She graduated in 1987 from Harcum College with an associate degree from the veterinary technology program. She resides in Kunkletown with her husband David and their two sons Mathew and Brian. They also share their home with Shilo, a very exuberant black lab. Ann enjoys reading, camping, cross stitch and bowling. |  View |
Kim , Certified Veterinary Technician, May, 1991 Kim, a Certified Veterinary Technician, joined our practice in 1991. She is a 1987 graduate of Harcum College's Veterinary Technology Program. Kim and her husband, Rob, reside in Wind Gap along with their two children Robert and Zachary. Kim enjoys gardening and counted cross stitch and spending time with her family. |  View |

Lisa , Certified Veterinary Technician, June 2008 Lisa joined our technician team in June of 2008. She earned a BA degree in English from Beaver College as well a an AA degree in Veterinary Technology from Argasy University. Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and furry family members which include dogs, cats and a rabbit. She also fosters cats for a locat rescue group. In her spare time. Lisa likes to go hiking and biking. She also enjoys reading and gardening.

| Becca graduated in 2004 from Johnson College, with an Associates Degree in Animal Science. Prior to being certified, she had ten years of experience in animal health. Becca enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Mike and his daughter Daphne. In her spare time, she also likes to train her chocolate lab Logan. Logan is a certified Therapy Dog. Becca also has a domestic short haired cat named Dutchess. Her hobbies include canine agility, motorcross, supercross and watching the Yankees. |

Nicky (Receptionist Team Leader) has been at Barton Heights since Feb 1989. She lives in Sciota with 3 pets-- a Basset Hound and 2 cats, Elijah and Ezmarelda. You can often hear Nicky's contagious laugh throughout the hospital. When not being a customer service rep at Barton Heights, Nicky can be found reading, listening to music, exercising, or SHOPPING! |

She also did post graduate work in accounting and business.Sally shares her home with her spouse Ed and several pets. When she is not helping the clients and patients at Barton Heights, she works in customer service at Great Wolf Lodge. Talia enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and other friends and family. They are a wonderful group of individuals, which are here for the well being of our patients and their families. When Michelle is not at work, she is having the time of her life with her young son and husband. |

Jaime joined the veterinary assistant team in August 2006. Jaime has a lot of animal friends to keep her company. These include her dachshunds, Bella and Cooper and her cat Benny that live with Jaime's parents. Her pitbull terriers, Takoa and Keller; as well as her cats, Jetta, Phaeton and Scirocco, and her bearded dragon Rufio live with her and her boyfriend Morgan in the home they purchased in 2009. Jaime has been riding horse since she was 14. She attended Delaware Valley College and studied equine science for two and a half years. Jaime has been riding English style for about nine years. She is also a fan of Volkswagens and belongs to an Audi/Volkswagen Club. With the club she attends car shows around the northeast. One of Jaime's main passions is fostering kittens. |

At home I live with my fiance Sam and 3 cats, Chloe, Mulder and Galvin. In my spare time, I enjoy music of all sorts, gardening, hiking, canoeing, and photography. |
